Because music builds bridges
"Bridges" is a project in Heidelberg that reaches, supports and promotes children, adolescents and young adults with refugee experience from 5-28 years with various musical offers.
What elements does Bridges include?
Professionally qualified, professionally experienced and culturally and trauma sensitive music educators and music therapists form the Bridges team. They receive special training and regular supervision for quality assurance. With "Bridges", especially with the concerts, we also want to build bridges to the population and are convinced that music can do just that. This includes the following projects:

Unfortunately, this project has only been funded until the end of August 2022. It would be a great loss for the children, adolescents and young adults if the joint work, which is so meaningful and strengthens their resilience, had to be terminated! We bridge the time until the approval of the follow-up application with the support of donations.
We wish that we can continue to offer the various musical play and development spaces as they are now. We can only do this with your help!
